Growing up on the coast, Jack’s early years were dedicated to surfing and competitive surf lifesaving, where he represented both NSW and Australia in junior divisions.
Starting his career as a Strength and Conditioning coach, Jack found an interest in client rehabilitation, which lead to him becoming Head of Strength and Conditioning within a Physiotherapy Clinic. Jack also spent four years working with the Newcastle Knights Pathways Program and two years as a tutor within the Exercise and Sport Science Department at the University of Newcastle.
Jack firmly believes effective coaching hinges on the implementation of systematic, progressive training protocols, specifically designed to enhance physiological adaptations; further strengthened by effective communication, empathetic understanding, and genuine care. Jack also equally recognises the pivotal role of hard work and grit. Jack’s philosophy underscores the importance of striking a balance in your training, as he considers this balance to be the key to achieving optimal success.
